Whoever you chose to buy your windows from make sure that they are aware of the current building regulations, and local planning requirements.
All of our installers are FENSA registered which means that their work gets audited to ensure that it complies with the current regulations.
Any installer who is not FENSA registered, (or you if you choose to install windows yourself) will need to go through building control to register any installation of doors and windows in your home. For further information visit www.fensa.org.uk
Please be aware of the additional costs and time that will be incurred.
When the time comes to sell your property you will need a certificate of compliance from FENSA or the local authority to prove that any replacements after April 2002 have been carried out in accordance with the relevant building regulations.
