The British Board of Agrément is an organisation partnered with Government and whose Governing Board includes representation on behalf of the Department for communities and Local government.

Its been set up to provide independent testing to validate claims made by manufacturers, that their products conform to the regulations and perform as expected. NHBC generally requires BBA certification for new build.

That means someone on behalf of the DCLG no less can confirm that our windows are robust, well made and built to last.

BBA on its own doesn't guarantee security or consistency, sure the tests are onerous, but to be certain you'll need ISO9001:2000 to prove consistency, Secured by Design will prove the police have approved the security of the window and if they're GGF members too, it'll provide additional safeguards.

Masterframe windows ltd are the only window company to exceed the BBA's 20,000-cycle endurance testing for sash windows.

Whereas the old certificates confirmed each component is okay, the new certificate ensures the whole window will open and close at least 20,000 times. A far more onerous test designed to recreate the lifetime of a product.

All our standard products Heritage, Classic, Authentic, Bygone and Vintage are BBA fully approved, that's the components, balances, hardware, even the Georgian bars get a BBA certificate for the lifetime of the sealed units!!!
