Planner says no to pvc but YES to Bygone Sashes for Conservation Areas
Masterframe’s Bygone Collection sliding sashes have convinced another conservation officer! When planners for the Charlottesville conservation area heard homeowner Mrs Barber had replaced her original rotten timber sashes with new PVC-U ones, they told her she had to remove them. But once the Head of Planning and Development at Guildford Borough Council actually saw the sliding sashes, she declared they looked authentic enough to remain.
Bygone Collection vertical sliders installed in Article 4 building
Hastings-based Bygone Preferred Installer Scott James Home Improvements Ltd installed five Masterframe vertical sliders in a Maidstone property in October. Planners had applied an Article 4 Direction, removing the permitted development rights so the homeowner needed planning permission for all work affecting the appearance of the outside of the property.
Homeowners say begone to fake Bygone Collection windows
Southampton homeowners Kay and Andy Dittrich weren’t fooled when a company purporting to sell PVC-U sash specialist Masterframe’s Bygone Collection windows tried to install a set of inferior products. Kay and Andy were building their dream home when they saw the windows they knew they ‘had to have’ advertised in a local newspaper.
