Best of British sash windows
Friday, February 28th , 2014
You see for the past 25 years, we’ve dedicated all our resources and focused our business entirely on making just one product, box sash windows.
Through this dedication we’ve found that standard fittings, components and methods are insufficient and fail the test of time, that’s why you’ll find we’ve redesigned, modified, improved or replaced, every single component that makes a Bygone sash window, so that they look the most authentic they possibly can.
Constant innovation ensures products are regularly improved and look even better than their previous models, like traditional vertical butt jointing methods (not mitred weld lines), or the super slim transom bars (39mm just like the slender 1 ½” wooden sections used on Georgian sash windows) or the authentic surface mounted glazing bars secured with Georgi clips©, Sashsecure© fittings or Bespoke Porcelain Cam catches and tilt release knobs.
There are 5 Bygone collections, top of the range Symphony is perfect for clients who wish it all as standard, whilst the Harmony range offers more flexibility to pick and mix or, for those whose budgets just wont stretch, the Melody range. Each of these have branded Bygone furniture, cam catches and limit stops whilst the two wooden ranges of Traditional sash or Spiral sash provide identical styling and designs (again with the same Bygone branded furniture) but in wood.
