The team at Bygone are delighted that Artisan Conservatories & Windows Ltd has won the prestigious FENSA (Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme) Installation of the year award with an installation of Bygone Symphony sash windows.

The award was presented at the G17 awards ceremony at the Hilton, Park Lane, London and was proudly received by Ian and Lyn Gibson on behalf of the Artisan team.  This was the first ever FENSA Installation trophy and Artisan was chosen out of all the FENSA registered installers in the United Kingdom.

According to the FENSA website “ FENSA recognises the good work that members do.  In an ongoing effort to inspire everyday excellence among its members, we have created the FENSA installation of the Year award to recognise the value of combining technical expertise with exemplary customer care.  It’s that simple!”

Homeowners are asked for feedback on their customer service experience from the sales process through to the completed installation and Ian Gibson, owner of Artisan says “The Artisan ethos is to seek out the finest quality products, taking into account the latest in technology, coupled with the traditional aesthetics of the British home.  We have worked really hard to achieve this and would like to thank all our customers for providing us with excellent feedback to make this happen for us”.

The installation involved the replacement of the original timber box sash windows in a quaint cottage in Denbighshire, Wales with Bygone Symphony sash windows, which are the perfect low maintenance alternative to timber.

Carol Slade, Sales & Operations Director for the manufacturers, Masterframe Windows says “When you look at the before and after pictures, you cannot tell the difference between the original timber windows and the new sash windows made of composite materials.  The wood foil finish combined with all the other authentic features such as the slim meeting rail, make the Bygone Symphony window the perfect choice for replacement.  The professional installation combined with beautiful sash windows has restored this home and won Artisan a well-deserved award”.
