Make the Environment a Priority When Buying Windows
Friday, November 30th , 2012
Over recent years we’ve all become acutely aware of the damage that we are doing to our environment through our daily activities and as a result, we’re all making an effort to reduce this impact. Here at Bygone we understand how important it is to reduce energy consumption and consider environmental factors as a priority.
We strive to make our sliding sash windows as environmentally friendly and energy efficient as possible to help you reduce your carbon footprint and lower your energy bills.
At Bygone we take our responsibility to provide environmentally friendly products seriously and that starts from the very beginning of the manufacturing process. We ensure that our windows are manufactured from 100% FSC approved sources in order to maintain sustainability; you can rest assured that the timber in your windows has been sourced in the most responsible and environmentally friendly method.
One of the most important things, of course, is that our windows allow you to become more energy efficient and to reduce your carbon footprint. Around 20% of a home’s heat is lost through the windows and if your windows aren’t up to scratch then you’ll be unnecessarily spending money on high energy bills.
There’s no need to worry about that at Bygone, however, as we strive to provide you with highly energy efficient windows. Our sash windows have a Window Energy Rating of A; this can reduce the amount of heat lost through your windows and have a great effect on your energy bills.
When you’re buying windows it’s important to consider not only the aesthetic appearance but the environmental factors; luckily, when you come to Bygone you’ll get both beautiful and environmentally friendly windows.
